Anya Lauchlan
artist painter & illustrator
Anya Lauchlan was trained by Khazanov, a student of Chagall, and the French Expressionist influence is very evident in her work.

Lauchlan uses strong colours, her lines are fluid and elegant and her composition is masterly confident. The main body of her work up to date is realistic and consists largely of landscapes and still-life, but she  is also an award-winning portrait artist.

Her work has been exhibited in London, Paris and New York.
She is a Fellow of FPS, and a member of the international art group "Ut Pictura Poesis".

In the Gallery shop you will find some examples of Lauchlan's paintings, also limited edition prints and fine art greetings cards that you can purchase direct from this site.

Anya Lauchlan has illustrated more than fifty books. In the Library section, you will find some book illustrations for children.  You can also read a children's story written and illustrated by Anya Lauchlan, this is coming on soon...

We hope, you enjoyed your visit and hope that you might add this site to your favourites.
